Metal Detecting Accessories & Detector Mods
Everything here is designed and made in our Blackwood workshop for detectorists who want gear that actually holds up in the field. We started making these because the accessories on the market didn't fit right or wear well — so we 3D print and build our own coil protectors, spade and pinpointer holders, and detector mods, tested on our own digs across South Wales.
You'll find universal coil protection bumpers, belt-mounted spade holders (SpadeMate and SpadeAce), pinpointer loops, and protective screen covers sized for popular models including Nokta Makro Simplex and Simplex Ultra.
Most pieces are made to order, so if you detect with a model we haven't listed yet, get in touch — we can usually design and print a custom fit.

Universal Metal Detector Coil Protection Bumper
Expertly 3D printed by Retrosheep using flexible TPU rubber filament, this accessory protects and extends the life of your metal detector coil — guarding against bumps, scratches, and impact damage out in the field.
Fits your coil. Designed for coils with a height of 15mm or 20mm, at 280mm in length. Comes in two parts, one for each side of the coil, and fits securely using simple cable clips (6mm hole, so both small and large cable ties work).
Built to last, light as a feather. Made from flexible TPU rubber for excellent shock absorption and durability in all weather conditions — and at just 37–38 grams, it's lighter than a bag of crisps, so you won't even notice it's there.
