A Quick Heads Up
Planned Maintenance: 30th August
Nos Da Radio is having a bit of a tinker under the hood on the 30th of August. There may be a short interruption to broadcasting — could be an hour, could be two, could be five minutes if I'm quick and nothing catches fire. Honestly, your guess is as good as mine.
This isn't a "the internet broke" situation. It's a "I want to make Nos Da Radio work a bit better and that means poking around inside it for a while" situation. Slight difference, but an important one — nobody panic, nobody ring the fire brigade.
What's actually happening?
Behind-the-scenes maintenance to keep the broadcast running smoothly, tidy up a few loose ends, and generally stop the whole thing from held together with hope and good intentions. Glamorous stuff.
What does this mean for you?
The stream might drop out or go quiet for a bit.
You might catch a bit of dead air, a stray click, or me swearing quietly at a mixing desk (unlikely to be broadcast, but I wouldn't rule it out).
Everything else on the site — shop, personalised gifts, engraving orders — carries on completely as normal. This is just the radio side having a lie-down.
When will it be back?
Normal service will resume as soon as I've stopped fiddling with wires and muttering at the mixing desk. So: soon-ish. Precision is not my strong suit today.
Thanks for bearing with me — see you on the other side.
