The game covers the final brutal campaigns of World War II across two theatres the Pacific and the Eastern Front seen through the eyes of American Marines and Soviet conscripts. The Pacific campaign puts you in the jungle warfare of the island-hopping advance against Imperial Japan, while the Eastern Front takes you from the ruins of Stalingrad towards Berlin itself.

Key features include up to four-player co-op campaign, vehicle-based missions, and the flamethrower one of the more visceral additions to the series at the time. The class-based multiplayer carries perks and ranking systems that CoD4 fans will recognise, with vehicle combat added on top.

For PS2 collectors, this is one of the later releases on the platform and holds up well as a WWII shooter.
