A vintage Saisho CX-680 car radio and cassette stereo a period-correct unit closely associated with Austin Rover Group vehicles of the 1980s, making it a genuine find for classic car restorers and retro motoring enthusiasts looking to keep their interior authentic.
The CX-680 features AM/FM radio reception and a built-in cassette player, with the characteristically clean, functional fascia design typical of period factory-fit and OEM-supplied car audio from the era. These units are increasingly difficult to find, particularly in presentable condition, as most were removed, lost or discarded during car upgrades decades ago.
This unit has not been cleaned, tested or altered in any way since it came out of storage. It is sold strictly as seen condition is as photographed. It may work perfectly, require servicing, or be suitable for parts or display. Please see all photos carefully before purchasing and buy accordingly.
Ideal for: classic car restoration, period-correct Austin Rover interiors, retro car audio collectors, or display purposes.
Condition: Used untested. Sold as seen. Please refer to photos for full condition details.
