Sky Rocket is a short but influential British snowboarding film, produced, filmed, edited and directed by Danny Wheeler — one of the UK's longest-serving and most respected professional snowboarders. Originally distributed as a free covermount DVD with Onboard magazine (issue 84), in association with Westbeach outerwear, the film runs around 20 minutes and captures some of the best backcountry freestyle riding ever put on film by UK riders.
The line-up features a tight crew of British shredders: Si Brass, Josh Wolf, Mark Kent, Ryan Davis, Danny Wheeler, and Nelson Pratt, with a few cameo appearances. At the time of release, it marked a step up for British snowboarding on film — moving the UK scene's reputation beyond park riding and into serious backcountry terrain.
This is a genuine physical DVD copy of a release that was never sold commercially on its own, making surviving copies increasingly hard to find.
