Transformers PS2 | PlayStation 2 | Atari | 2004 | Armada | Optimus Prime | Autobots vs Decepticons | Action | PAL UK

£24.99
Limited Availability

Confirmed working tested before listing.

The 2004 Atari Transformers not the Michael Bay movie tie-in, but the real one. Based on the Transformers Armada and Energon continuity, this is the version G1 fans actually want, with the classic Autobot insignia on the cover and a roster of characters that anyone who grew up with the original cartoon will recognise immediately.

You play as the Autobots across a series of large-scale battles, switching freely between vehicle mode and robot mode during combat. Drive at speed to close the gap, then transform mid-fight to take on Decepticons on foot with weapons and melee. Playable characters include Optimus Prime, Hot Shot and Red Alert, with Megatron and the Decepticons as the opposing force. Environments range from open desert battlefields to urban combat zones, and the game captures the scale and chaos of a proper Transformers conflict better than most tie-ins managed at the time.

A solid pick for any Transformers collector, PS2 completionist, or anyone who wants to revisit the Armada era before the Bayverse took over.
